Recently my husband and I had to used Flight Medic UK’s services as my husband required a nurse to accompany him back to Adelaide, Australia after falling very sick on the first day of our holiday in Berlin. Our Insurance company liaised with Flight Medic and Jorge was assigned to our case.

Jorge was exceptional during the whole process. He kept us up to date during the repatriation. He was extremely re-assuring and calmed me down when my stress levels were at their highest. Jorge was attentive, caring, supportive and extremely compassionate during the whole journey. He cared for my husband and indirectly for me. He made the long journey home very seamless. At various airports we were assisted by airline or airport staff who made it a very easy for us to check in, navigate security etc.

My husband and I are so grateful to have recently had the support, care and assistance from 2 of the amazing team at Flight Medic UK – Nick and Adam.

I received a call in April ’24, one of which was the worst nightmare for any Mother to receive. My eldest son who was living in Perth WA, had suffered an accident resulting in him being airlifted to Royal Perth Emergency hospital, placed on life support and put into a coma!!

7 months after the accident, my son being medically stable albeit left with life changing injuries, it was time to look at getting him back to the UK to continue with his rehabilitation and this is when my husband and I were introduced to Nick & Adam from Flight Medic UK. They arrived to meet us the day before we were due to fly back, spent time getting to know both my husband and I but most importantly our son and his needs. They explained in great detail the end-to-end process for getting back to the UK, the role that they would play in looking after our son as well as being there to support my husband and I. The instant feeling of relief we felt after spending time listening and talking to Nick & Adam was immeasurable as it alleviated so much worry that we’d previously been thinking about, travelling alone on such a long journey without any medical support.

The day of travel arrived and Nick and Adam were super organised, compassionate and showed so much care towards all 3 of us. Constantly checking we were all OK and regularly informing us of what was happening & when, and what we needed to do at certain areas of the airport. Boarding the plane was seamless, all aircraft staff knew in advance to expect us and were well informed of the needs for our son.

We arrived in the UK and were transported to hospital where our son will remain until January. Again all this was arranged in advance by the team at Flight Medic, and to say they left no stone unturned is an understatement. They provided a full medical handover to the receiving hospital and did everything they could to lighten the load from my husband and I.

Eventually the time came for our guardian angels from Flight Medic UK to leave us and what an emotional farewell it was. I trusted these amazing guys to look after and care for my son, and being as vulnerable as he is, that was not easy for me to do, but Nick & Adam never let me down for a second, I never questioned once the care they provided or how they handled my boy.

My husband and I will never be able to thank Nick and Adam enough for how they helped us and we would certainly recommend Flight Medic UK to anyone who is looking for the service they provide. A professional company with an amazing and highly qualified, caring team!

My sister and I feel so grateful for the care and kindness our family have been shown be Flight Medic UK, repatriating our parents from Thailand.

I had called around a number of companies for quotes to undertake a stretcher transfer from Portugal to the UK. Flight Medic UK very quickly planned and executed the repatriation. The planning and preparational work that the UK office team carried out within 24hrs allowed your nursing staff to hit the ground running in not only assessing Godfrey but also dealing with the Greek Hospital staff, administration and physical repatriation all within 18hrs.Our face to face interaction with your company was with the nursing staff Edson who was to repatriate Godfrey from Corfu; and both my wife, myself, Tony and Godfrey could not have asked for a more professional individual. Our most sincere ‘thank you’ to all of your staff who were involved in this case and especially Edson who will for a long time have a place in our hearts.

I received the call that every parent dreads. My 20-year-old son had been in an accident on holiday in Zante; hit by a car driving at speed, whilst riding his quad bike. Our son was covered by his father’s insurance (or so we thought), so we started the long and painful process of trying to deal with the insurance company.
