British Airways are reassuring customers they will be able to fly to their destinations on Sunday 5 February to Saturday 11 February despite six days of industrial action by Unite members. Unite represent a fifth of their cabin crew fleets.
British Airways are confirming:
- all flights to and from London Gatwick will operate as normal
- all flights to and from London City will operate as normal
- the vast majority of flights to and from London Heathrow will operate as normal
However, they say they will be merging a very small number of flights to and from Heathrow on some of the days of industrial action which will mean some customers will travel slightly earlier or later in the day than their original booking. These customers are being contacted with the options available.
If you are flying on any of the days of industrial action more information can be found on the British Airways’ website
Flight Medic UK Ltd have 2 members of staff out of the country at the moment but are happy to say the industrial action has not affected our business.
